Ok think I'm getting closer to my favorite pad thai. Apparently North American restaurants use a tomato base a lot of the time as it appeals more to most peoples' palettes. No wonder the "traditional"recipes tasted weird. = PAlso last week I had a Thai night for my bf and me. In addition to pad thai I also made mango sticky rice...even more yum!
